This course takes you from writing your first Python script to deploying a production-ready REST API on the internet - with a real PostgreSQL database, JWT authentication, and live Swagger documentation.You will spend the first two weeks mastering Python's core language: data structures, functions, file handling, and error handling. Week 3 deepens your thinking with object-oriented programming - classes, inheritance, and encapsulation - which directly prepares you for the database and framework weeks ahead.Week 4 covers PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy: you will write raw SQL, then learn to work at the ORM level, and version-control your schema with Alembic migrations. Weeks 5 and 6 are where everything comes together - you build a full Task Management API in FastAPI with user authentication, data validation via Pydantic, and an automated test suite.The final week is deployment: your API goes live on Render backed by a Neon cloud PostgreSQL database, with a public Swagger URL you can put in your portfolio the same day.Every module ends with a project that uses only what has been taught so far - no black-box magic, no copy-paste tutorials. By the end, you will have built five progressively complex projects and deployed one of them to the internet.

No. It is a beginner course and starts at the very beginning: setting up Python, virtual environments and pip, then variables, data types and loops. It does move steadily, though - by week 5 you are building a web API - so plan to practise between classes. Being comfortable using a computer and installing software is enough to start.
Seven weeks. Weeks 1 and 2 cover core Python: data structures, functions, files and error handling. Week 3 is object-oriented programming. Week 4 is PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy and Alembic migrations. Weeks 5 and 6 build a FastAPI application with login, validation and tests, and week 7 puts it live on the internet. Batch dates and class times are announced on this course page.

Five projects, each using only what has been taught so far. They include a script that reads student scores from a CSV file and writes a report, a product inventory system built with classes, and a library loans tool backed by PostgreSQL. The capstone is a Task Management API with JWT login, data kept separate for each user, a pytest test suite and Swagger documentation.
Yes. In the final week you deploy your API to Render, backed by a Neon cloud PostgreSQL database, and learn to handle environment variables and secrets properly. You finish with a public Swagger documentation link for your API that you can add to your portfolio and show to anyone.
Yes. The course is offered both in person and online, priced separately. In-person classes are held at our centre on Pahiko Sadak, Falfulchowk (near Sorakhutte), Kathmandu, with at most 12 students in a class. Online batches are timed to suit learners in both Nepal and Australia.
